Brooks, Bordas Join United Hebrew Of New Rochelle Home Health Care Team

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- United Hebrew of New Rochelle has expanded its operations with the addition of Geri Brooks and Maura Cahill Bordas to its home health care services leadership team.

A leader Westchester comprehensive campus of care, United Hebrew named Geri Brooks as its new Vice President of Home Care Services. Brooks, a nurse practitioner who will also remain Vice President of Geriatric Services, will oversee Azor Licensed Home Care Services Agency, the United Hebrew Certified Home Health Agency, as well as the United Hebrew Care Services Agency.

Bordas takes over as Administrator of Home Care Services after serving as Senior Vice President of Community Programs at Hebrew Hospital Home, where she’s been employed since 1998. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the College of New Rochelle and a Bachelor of Nursing from Mercy College.

“Maura brings a wealth of expertise and experience to our home care team,” said Rita Mabli, President and CEO of United Hebrew, in a statement. “We are thrilled to have her join our staff and work with Geri Brooks on the expansion of our services in the community.”

Brooks and Bordas will be responsible for the clinical care, administration, and marketing of the United Hebrew Home Health Services. They will work to increase the capacity of the new certified home health agency and also Raven Care Advocates, a private geriatric care management service that creates customized care plans.
