Each year, the Child Care Council recognizes exceptional individuals caring for and teaching children in early care and education programs, selected from nominations by parents and colleagues.
Awards are presented in the following categories:
- Family child care
- Center child care
- School age program
- Staff or administrator
- General (corporation, community organization, etc.)

The deadline for nominations is 5 p.m., Friday, Jan. 8. Awards will be presented on Friday, June 3. The Council’s Annual Awards Breakfast will be at the Westchester Marriott Tarrytown Hotel.
