“Cancer research holds many promises, but until a cure is found, we must find ways to ease patient discomfort and to better manage their health,” said Engel, D-Bronx, Westchester.

“I was particularly pleased to meet with community leaders like Karen Bernbach, a volunteer with the Cancer Action Network, who came to Washington, D.C., to advocate for medical research funding and improved patient care. Her voice is being heard on Capitol Hill,” he continued.
