Four Scarsdale Residents Earn College Accolades

SCARSDALE, N.Y. – Four Scarsdale residents and two from Tuckahoe have received academic accolades for their college accomplishments during the fall semester.

From Tuckahoe, Brian Cimons was named to the dean’s list at Notre Dame for being in the top 30 percent of students at the university. Jillian C. Boulhosa, an early childhood education major, was one of 1,800 students to make the dean's list at Coastal Carolina University.

From Scarsdale, Makoto Kawabata, an electrical and computer engineering major, was named to the honors list at SUNYIT. Freshman Kathleen Rooney earned a 4.0 grade point average at Georgia Institute of Technology to achieve faculty honors. 

In addition, David Goro from Scarsdale was named to the president’s list at SUNY Oswego, attaining between a 3.8 and 4.0 grade point average. At Clemson University, David Robert Hurst, a financial management major, earned dean’s list honors.
