The franchise is among the fastest growing the in the country and provides guests with a “unique getaway through art.”

Allowed to bring their own beverages, attendees are led by art instructors who teach how to paint a bare 16- X 20-inch canvas using paint and brushes provided by the studio.

The paintings vary from landscapes, abstracts and cityscapes, to creative renderings of animals, iconic buildings and florals.

The Scarsdale shop is owned by Westchester native Lauren Weixeldorfer and Painting with a Twist Co-Founders Cathy Deano and Renee Maloney.

“I’m thrilled to be opening Scarsdale’s first Painting with a Twist studio and can’t wait to provide guests with a fun night out, a chance to escape from reality and an opportunity to give back to our local community,” Weixeldorfer said. “We want to provide a place where people can come together to create memorable pieces of artwork.”

In keeping with the shop’s goal of giving back to the community, Painting with a Twist of Scarsdale donates 50 percent of proceeds to local organizations and charities each month through its Painting with a Purpose program. In addition, the studio offers private parties for corporate team building outings, bachelorette parties, sorority functions, date nights and special events.
