Movies, Music and Animals Coming To Scarsdale Library

SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- The Scarsdale Public Library will have events for children of all ages during the upcoming holiday week, beginning with Toddler Morning Movies at 10:30 a.m. Monday.

Toddler Morning Movies features short films based on children's picture books, as well as coloring activities after the movies. 

"Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes" will screen in the Scarsdale Children's Room as part of the Children's Film Festival at 2 p.m. Monday. The Children's Film Festival continues at 4 p.m. Tuesday with "Sky High" and "Marvel Superhero Squad" at 2 p.m. Wednesday and "Marvel's The Avengers" at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Kurt Gallagher will perform his collection of "Silly Songs" at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Gallagher encourages children to join in the performances that offer education as well as entertainment. 

Two by Two Zoo presents animals from around the world at 7 p.m. Monday. Tickets are available in the Children's Room.
