SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- The Scarsdale High School Orchestra and Choir will perform at Westchester County's 9/11 tribute on Sunday, Sept. 11.

The ceremony will take place at The Rising, the county's 9/11 Memorial at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla.

The choir will perform S.D. Rosner’s "In Paradisum" and Mozart’s "Ave Vernum Corpus," and the orchestra will perform Bach’s "Air."

Both the choir and orchestra will also perform "Amazing Grace" at the conclusion of the ceremony.

The choir and orchestra will perform under the direction of Craig Sherman, department chair of music and performing arts.

The choir will be directed by Jon Cuk and the orchestra by Amédée Williams.

The ceremony, which will air live on Cablevision’s News12, will include a reading of the names of the 111 Westchester residents and 12 former residents who lost their lives as a result of the terror attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. It will mark the 15th anniversary of the tragedy.

The ceremony will begin at 7 p.m.
