Scarsdale Library Plans Children's Film Festival

SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- The Scarsdale Public Library will hold a children's film festival the week of June 29.

The movies are scheduled as follows:

  • Monday, June 29, 2 p.m. – "Avengers – Earths Mightiest Heroes," for children ages 5 and older.
  • Tuesday, June 30, 4 p.m. – Disney’s "Sky High," for ages 7 and older.
  • Wednesday, July 1, 2 p.m. – "Marvel Superhero Squad."
  • Wednesday, July 1, 6 p.m. – "Marvel’s The Avengers," rated PG-13.

Summer hours start for Scarsdale Public Library on Tuesday and end Labor Day weekend. The library's summer hours are:

  • Monday and Wednesday – 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
  • Tuesday and Thursday – 9 a.m.- 6 p.m.
  • Friday – 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Saturday – 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • Sunday – Closed.

Scarsdale Piblic Library will hold Two by Two Zoo, an educational program with live animals, on Monday, June 29, at 7 p.m. Tickets are available in the Children's Room. The event is open for children ages 5 and older.
