SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- Scarsdale Medical Group (SMG), a multi-specialty practice serving Westchester County and the surrounding Hudson Valley area, welcomes pediatrician Dr. Amy Lief.
She began seeing patients on Sept. 16 in the Harrison office, at 600 Mamaroneck Ave.
She received her undergraduate degree from Yale University, after which she completed post-baccalaureate work at Harvard University.
She then earned her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
She completed the pediatric residency program at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore and served as chief resident in pediatrics during her last year of training.
After residency, she spent the next two years as a fellow in Medicine and Public Health at the New York University School of Medicine, from which she received a master of science degree.
She is board-certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
She has served on the faculties of the New York University School of Medicine and the Columbia University Medical Center as an instructor and assistant clinical professor, respectively.
Prior to joining SMG, she worked in a private pediatric practice in Connecticut.
“We are delighted to have Dr. Lief join Scarsdale Medical Group and further enhance the pediatric services we provide to the community,” said managing partner Dr. Kenneth Croen.
Lief joins pediatrician Dr. Amy Eisenberg.
