She began seeing patients on Sept. 16 in the Harrison office, at 600 Mamaroneck Ave.
She received her undergraduate degree from Yale University, after which she completed post-baccalaureate work at Harvard University.
She then earned her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
She completed the pediatric residency program at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore and served as chief resident in pediatrics during her last year of training.
After residency, she spent the next two years as a fellow in Medicine and Public Health at the New York University School of Medicine, from which she received a master of science degree.
She is board-certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
She has served on the faculties of the New York University School of Medicine and the Columbia University Medical Center as an instructor and assistant clinical professor, respectively.
Prior to joining SMG, she worked in a private pediatric practice in Connecticut.

Lief joins pediatrician Dr. Amy Eisenberg.
The pediatric services available for current patients include well-child exams, preventive medicine, care for acute illnesses, screenings, immunizations and sports physicals.
Lief and Eisenberg are also accepting new patients.
