Scarsdale School Board Nominating Committee Holds Elections For Members

SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- The election for the Scarsdale School Board Nominating Committee (SNBC) will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 13, with polls open from 7 a.m. – 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. – 9 p.m. in the lobby of the auditorium at the Scarsdale Middle School.

The SBNC Administrative Committee is seeking the election of two candidates in each district, with the exception of Heathcote, where it is seeking the election of three candidates to include the replacement of an SBNC member who has recently resigned.

In the event of a snow day, the election will be held on Thursday, Jan. 15. 

The following candidates are running for the SBNC:

Moira Ann Crouch, a resident of Scarsdale for 10 years; Daniel Moretti, a resident of Scarsdale for 19 years; Elizabeth "Liz" Miller Guggenheimer, a 21-year resident; Pam Rubin, 12-year resident, Beverley Sved, a 26-year resident; Elyse Mall Klayman, a resident of Scarsdale for 15 years; Terri Simon, a 25-year resident; Qing "Claire" He, a seven-year resident; Jacqueline Irwin, a 34-year resident; Sarah Persily, a 10-year resident; Jodie Roure, a five-month resident; Laura Toniolo, a two-year resident; Lauren Rimland, a 21-year resident.
