The Walkabout Clearwater Coffeehouse founded by Seeger in 1984 still meets for folk music and social causes but is shrinking due to an aging community, according to The New York Times.
The coffeehouse is in Memorial United Methodist Church at 250 Bryant Ave. in White Plains.
Seeger died of natural causes on Jan. 27, 2014.
Seeger wanted the coffeehouse to be about the work not him, and the 40-member chorus still draws crowds of 200 but few are of the millennial age group, according to the New York Times.
Seeger was known in Westchester and throughout the Hudson Valley for his environmental activism and his efforts to clean up the Hudson River.
He founded Hudson River Sloop Clearwater in 1966 and the organization's efforts led to the passage of the Clean Water Act.
The Great Hudson River Revival won't be held this year in favor of using the money for the sloop itself, with a June 18 concert series at the Tarrytown Music Hall taking its place, according to the New York Times.
