While work is being conducted, one lane will remain open and detours will be established.

The Village of Tarrytown approved a contract to repair different components of the bridge, including steel repairs of the girders and beams, column replacement, expansion joint replacement and concrete repairs of the bridge surface, the village website said.  Painting the steel on the bridge is also planned.

All four legs of the bridge will require repair, so one leg of the bridge will be taken out of service at a time, the village said.

As each detour is established, notice will be provided of the detour route, the village website said.
