County Jail Prisoners Hospitalized For Possible Drug Overdoses

VALHALLA, N.Y. -- Six inmates at the Westchester County Jail in Valhalla were treated Sunday afternoon as a result of possible drug overdoses.

Four were rushed to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla and two to White Plains Hospital, according to officials.

The inmates were reportedly found together in one wing of the prison complex.

All six are now in stable condition according to lohud.com, which also reported two had been in critical condition.

The prison was placed in lock down at the time of the incident.

Many of the approximately 1,500 inmates at in the jail while awaiting trial.
