Cross River Man Died Of Blunt-Force Trauma In Accident, Says M.E.

LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- Cross River resident Robert Jones died of blunt-force trauma to the body in a vehicle accident in Armonk on Thursday, according the Westchester Medical Examiner's office.

The 54-year-old Jones, according to media reports, was injured in the accident on Armonk's Business Park Drive.

The incident happened at 215 Business Park Drive, according to media reports.

A press release from the North Castle Police Department, which does not mention Jones by name, said that his vehicle "had struck and under-ridden an unhitched trailer which had been parked along the east side of the way."

Police received a 911 call about the incident on Thursday at 3:14 a.m., according to the press release.

Jones has two children who are students in the Katonah-Lewisboro School District, according to The Lewisboro Ledger.
