An Emmy-award winning actor who calls Northern Westchester home is under investigation for claims that he behaved in a sexually inappropriate manner toward his former assistant, according to deadline.com.

The inquiry involving 73-year-old Jeffrey Tambor of Cross River, who stars on Amazon's "Transparent," is in its "very early stages," the report said.

The investigation into the claims by the ex-assistant, who is transgender, were made in a private Facebook post earlier this week, deadline.com reports.

Tambor is also known for his roles as Oscar Bluth on "Arrested Development" as well as transgender woman Maura Pfefferman on "Transparent."

Tambor described the former assistant as "disgruntled" and told deadlone.com he "adamantly and vehemently" rejects and denies any "improper behavior toward this person or any other person I have ever worked with."

Tambor won both Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe Awards for his role on "Transparent" in 2015.

He also played Hank Kingley, the sidekick of the titular character on "The Larry Sanders Show."

Tambor's film and television credits also include "Hellboy," "Monsters vs. Aliens," "The Hangover" series and more.
