According to newstimes.com, the cause for the accident remains unclear.
After a week and a half of searches, the New York City Department of Environmental Protection found the plane's propeller, control panel, a firewall and parts of the engine, wings, cockpit, and tail.
As previously reported, divers found human remains in the reservoir thought to belong to South Salem residents Val Horsa and Taew Robinson. The couple is believed to have been traveling in the plane when it crashed on Nov. 19.
According to the report, Horsa had a total of 1,940 flight hours. The remains have not yet been identified.
