HAWTHORNE, N.Y. -- An accident involving an overturned vehicle caused heavy delays Sunday morning on the southbound Taconic State Parkway near the Saw Mil River Parkway in Hawthorne.
The three passengers were not injured in the incident, in which the car landed at the edge of a body of water, according to a report by News 12.
The incident, reported at 7:50 a.m., resulted in delays before being cleared by 9 a.m.
Earlier Sunday morning, a serious accident was reported on the southbound Saw Mill River Parkway near McLean Avenue in Yonkers. It was cleared shortly after 6 p.m.
