SCARSDALE, N.Y. – Scarsdale motorists will face more delays and detours, as paving begins Aug. 21 on Route 125.

Route 125 (Weaver Street/Palmer Avenue/Secor Road) from Stratton Road to Hazelton Drive will be closed daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for repaving. Work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, Aug. 21, and should conclude Wednesday, Aug. 29.

Due to the potential for extreme traffic congestion, the New York State Department of Transportation will not repave the Five Corners Intersection at this time.

State workers will be on hand to assist with traffic control, but delays are still expected.
