SCARSDALE, N.Y. A Scarsdale High School student reported, Dec. 3, that her camera had been stolen from the school gym on Nov. 29.
According to the Scarsdale police report, the student left her Nikon D5000 camera and lens worth $1,300 on a table in the gym before gymnastics practice, and she forgot to retrieve it when she was finished about 7 p.m. When she returned the next day, the camera was gone. It was not turned in to the school office.
School officials are checking security camera footage.

Domestic abuse : A Bradley Road man, whose name is being withheld to protect his identity, turned himself in to police Thursday, Dec. 2, after a warrant was issued for his arrest on a charge of domestic abuse. He was arraigned and released on recognizance, and he was served with a temporary order of protection.
Lost jewelry : An Ogden Road woman reported losing a 1.79K diamond pendant somewhere in her home. She valued the jewelry at $30,000.
Aggravated harassment : A Cayuga Road woman said Nov. 30 that she had been receiving harassing text messages from a New Rochelle man, and that the man had verbally threatened to kill her.
Credit card fraud : A Brite Avenue woman complained to police that someone had made to purchases of fabric using her credit card on Nov. 17. Both purchases were for just over $3,715 and were made online.
