Road Work Forces Lane Closures On Hutchinson River Parkway

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Westchester County motorists should take note that lane closures are expected for both northbound and southbound sides of the Hutchinson River Parkway, between Exit 7 (Boston Post Road) and Exit 29 (North Ridge Street), beginning Monday, June 13, through Thursday, June 16, for road maintenance.

The closures will affect commuters in Scarsdale and Harrison; the cities of New Rochelle and Mount Vernon, and the villages of Eastchester and Pelham from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., daily.

During the work, southbound lane closures are expected on Monday, June 13, and Tuesday, June 14. Northbound lane closures are expected on Wednesday, June 15, and Thursday, June 16.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers. They are also reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
