SCARSDALE, N.Y. The Scarsdale Adult School is accepting the final summer registrants for its fun and fitness classes.
There will be a plethora of options available for residents. They can choose body sculpting at the Westchester Reform Temple, or boot camp at the Girl Scout House with Jeannine Palermo. There will be hatha or vinyasa yoga at Yoga Station in Hartsdale and mat Pilates at Susan Marlowe Fitness Studio. Qigong: the Vital Energy with Jian Yang Rong at the Westchester Reform Temple also is available. These six-week fitness courses each cost $105.
In addition to those classes, golf instruction for beginning or advanced students will start Tuesday. Adrian Ponce, the PTA teaching professional, will lead the six-week course from 6-7 p.n. Tuesdays at the Westchester Golf Range. Videotaping and analysis will help golfers visualize their swing and improve their game. Equipment is available. Cost is $175.
