NYPD officials said they received a report of Dr. Jeremy Wertman, 38, of Scarsdale, sitting in a running car in a parking garage at 2690 E. 188th St. in Fordham Heights about 8:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Police sources say Wertman had an IV tube connected to his foot with a bag filled with propofol, according to the New York Post.

Propofol is the same drug Michael Jackson used before his death. The drug can be highly addictive and its side effects include seizures and death from a loss of breathing.

The New York City Medical Examiner's Office said an official cause of death has not been determined as yet.

Wertman was a member of the Bronx County Dental Society and was formerly affiliated with Montefiore Medical Center until last year
