SCARSDALE, N.Y. Here's a look at Scarsdale's government meetings and agendas for the week of Jan. 16-20:
Elections for the Scarsdale School Board Nominating Committee will be held from 7 to 10 a.m. and 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Scarsdale Middle School auditorium lobby.
The Scarsdale Committee for Historic Preservation meets at 8 p.m. Tuesday in Village Hall. The board plans to consider the property at 101 Sheldrake Road, built in 1954.
A meeting of the law committee of the board of trustees is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the third floor meeting room in Village Hall. The agenda will include Village Code Section 310-7(S) permanent emergency-only generators and an update on litigation with Boulder Brook Riding Academy at 15 Gatehouse Road. It is anticipated that the committee will convene in executive session to discuss this pending litigation.
The Scarsdale Board of Education will hold its second community budget forum at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Girl Scout House on Wayside Lane. The board will present preliminary figures to the community and explain the process going forward to develop the 2012-2013 budget. The public will have the chance to ask questions and provide insights to the board.
