It seems Scarsdale is somewhat lacking when it comes to areas that offer wireless Internet.
"I think this [Starbucks] is the only game in town," said Danielle Bayar, a graduate student visiting family and working in the Starbucks in Scarsdale Village.
Bayar racked her brain for locally owned coffee shops or small restaurants that might have wireless Internet but could not think of any within the Scarsdale border.
"It seems like Scarsdale doesn't have that many options," she said.
Despite there being a shortage of cafes, the Scarsdale Public Library does offer wireless Internet, though some say the atmosphere is not as appealing as a coffee shop. "The public library is kind of depressing," said Bayar.
