Only properties located between the Bronx River Parkway and the Post Road are permitted to water their lawn on Mondays and Thursdays.

Only properties located between the Post Road and Wilmot Road/Palmer Avenue/Secor Road/Old Mamaorneck Road are permitted to water their lawn on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Only properties located between Wilmot Road/Palmer Avenue/Secord Road/Old Mamaroneck Road and the Mamaroneck town line are permitted to water their lawn on Tuesdays and Saturdays or Sundays. Village officials note that properties with well water that is used for lawn watering may continue to utilize it as they see fit, but they must display a sign indicating that well water is in use for the general public.

Restrictions have been put in place to reduce the early morning water use that has exceeded the capacity of Scarsdale’s water supply station, resulting in poor water pressure for certain residents.

The town was under a "water emergency" from July 20-22.
