SCARSDALE, N.Y. Village Manager Alfred Gatta has been appointed to the Westchester County Storm Water Advisory Board, Scarsdale Mayor Miriam Levitt-Flisser said this week.
The board, which was created in February 2011, is responsible for working with the County Commissioner of Planning to prepare a watershed based storm water plan for the Lower Westchester Long Island Sound Drainage Basin, Gatta said. The plan, once completed, will make municipalities and their projects eligible for matching funds from Westchester County.
The board consists of 12 members who will advise the commissioners of public works and transportation, the county executive and the County Board of Legislators.
