Seventy Westchester County Employees Expected To Take Buyouts

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- An estimated 70 Westchester County employees are expected to take early retirement buyout offers, according to LoHud.com.

Employees who accept the deal will get $1,000 for each year worked. The measure is expected to save up to $1.6 million because many of the positions will not be replaced, LoHud.com said.
