SCARSDALE, N.Y. – Consolidated Edison has warned Scarsdale officials that there may be sporadic, temporary power outages in certain parts of the village.

Residents who live near Mamaroneck Road and Griffen Avenue and Griffen Avenue and Grand Park Avenue may experience the outages, which aren’t expected to persist longer than a week.

GREENBURGH, N.Y. - Two lanes southbound on the Saw Mill River Parkway were blocked Tuesday evening due to a multiple car accident on just south of Exit 20 near the I-287 in Elmsford.

WESTCHESTER, N.Y. - The National Weather Service posted a thunderstorm warning for southern Westchester County at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday.

The storms could be accompanied by lightning, hail and high winds of up to 50 mph, the weather service said.
