Westchester Attorney Resigns From Post After Racial Tweet

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- A Westchester County based attorney has resigned his position with the New York City Bar Association after publishing racist tweets about Sheriff Chris Moss, according to News 12 Westchester.

Andrew Barovick tweeted that Moss, who is black, was "mulling offers to be new spokesmodel for either Cream of Wheat, or Uncle Ben's Rice," after Moss failed to win his race for lieutenant governor, News 12 Westchester said. 

In his resignation letter, Barovick said he was making a joke to show his displeasure with the Republican Party, News 12 Westchester reported.
