What's Happening Around Scarsdale This Weekend?

SCARSDALE, N.Y. – This weekend is the final opportunity to view a pair of the region's art exhibitions.

The New Rochelle Art Association's exhibition at the JCC Mid-Westchester, 999 Wilmot Road in the Marjorie and Norman Alexander Gallery, wraps up Sunday with a free closing reception from 3 to 5 p.m.

In Peekskill, "Eye on the Naked City: The Photographs of Charles Ruppman" wraps up at the Field Library, 4 Nelson Ave., on Saturday, Feb. 25. Ruppman is a longtime New York Daily News photographer whose photos chronicled the best and worst of city life. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Scarsdale Teen Center, 862 Scarsdale Ave., holds drop-in hours from 2 to 11 p.m. Saturday. Listen to music, play games or just hang out with friends.

Children ages 5 to 10-years-old can learn about the advantages of camouflage and make their own animals using camo color at the Lenoir Preserve on Dudley Street in Yonkers. The program begins at 10 a.m.
