Wednesday, April 18
Spring Learning at WRT: 7:30 p.m. Rabbi Jan Katzew and Rabbi Aaron Panken speak at Westchester Reform Temple on six Wednesdays, April 18 and 25, May 2, 9, 16 and 23, in a program "From Redemption to Revelation: An Exploration of the Journey From Pesach to Shavuot." The series will examine how Jewish tradition defines the period between Passover and Shavuot. During this seven-week period, Jews enumerate the time from the celebration of redemption to the moment of revelation at Mount Sinai, and remember the challenging journey their ancestors faced as they walked through the desert to reach their sacred encounter with God.
