Scarsdale Village Board of Trustees Finance Committee: 6 p.m. On the agenda: final discussion of the 2012-2013 village budget. Scarsdale Village Hall, 1001 Post Road.

Scarsdale Village Board of Trustees Land Use and Law committees: 6:30 p.m. Agenda: Historic Resources Survey report dated Feb. 20, 2012. Presentation by Village Consultant Liz Saltzman Architects. Scarsdale Village Hall, 1001 Post Road.

Wednesday, April 18

Spring Learning at WRT: 7:30 p.m. Rabbi Jan Katzew and Rabbi Aaron Panken speak at Westchester Reform Temple on six Wednesdays, April 18 and 25, May 2, 9, 16 and 23, in a program "From Redemption to Revelation: An Exploration of the Journey From Pesach to Shavuot." The series will examine how Jewish tradition defines the period between Passover and Shavuot. During this seven-week period, Jews enumerate the time from the celebration of redemption to the moment of revelation at Mount Sinai, and remember the challenging journey their ancestors faced as they walked through the desert to reach their sacred encounter with God. Texts for the series will be available in Hebrew and English, and the public is welcome. Westchester Reform Temple, 255 Mamaroneck Road.
