Monday, July 2
Shelter Cats Display: The Scarsdale Public Library will begin hosting an exhibit of Elisabeth Pollaert photography. The subjects in the pieces are shelter cats, in conjunction with the New Rochelle Humane Society. 54 Olmsted Road, Scarsdale.
Bagels and Babies: 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. The Westchester Reform Temple Early Childhood Center and the PJ Library are bringing back the summer version of this popular playgroup for mothers, fathers, caregivers and grandparents. Vinyasa Yoga: 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. This introductory class will be led by Char Daigle for the Scarsdale Adult School. Vinyasa yoga classes are geared toward beginners, though all levels are welcome. Tuesday, July 3
Hatha Yoga: 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Hatha yoga is ideal for practitioners seeking a more gentle, restorative practice, as well as athletes looking to improve their game by increasingly flexibility and stamina. Each pose will be held for several breaths, delving deeper with every exhalation. Bring your own mat or get one at the studio. Fireworks: The annual fireworks display is open for all residents at the Scarsdale Municipal Pool complex. Nonmembers may begin to enter the complex at 5 p.m. A $2 fee will be charged to all people who enter after 5 p.m. 311 Mamaroneck Road, Scarsdale.

Carnival Day: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Scarsdale Municipal Pool complex invites residents for an Independence Day celebration. Enjoy a day of picnicking, carnival attractions, music and aquatic activities. 311 Mamaroneck Road, Scarsdale.
Thursday, July 5
Mother Goose Walkers: 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. A program of songs at the Scarsdale Public Library with rhymes and books for children ages 2 and younger. 54 Olmsted Road, Scarsdale.
Storybook Crafts: 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Registration is not required for this class at the Scarsdale Public Library. Children’s storybook crafts is a weekly program for all ages. 54 Olmsted Road, Scarsdale.
