SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- David Mintz, of Scarsdale, died Oct.19. He was 93.
Mintz was for many years a respected physician in private practice in Scarsdale and also as an attending physician at White Plains and Montefiore hospitals and other local institutions.
He was a passionate musician--pianist, cellist and composer, participating in a variety of local theater, orchestra and chamber music organizations.
He is survived by his children and grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Barbara, who passed away in April.
Donations in his memory can be made to White Plains Hospital and the Hoff-Barthelsen Music School.
