Margaret Cicchetti, 87, Scarsdale Woman's Club Member

SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. – Margaret L. Cicchetti, a 26-year resident of Sleepy Hollow, died Thursday, Oct. 11. She was 87.

Cicchetti was born Aug. 25, 1925, in New York City to Tullio and Adeline DiBucci Paletta. She worked in the Yonkers school system for many years as a food service supervisor. She was a member of the Scarsdale Woman's Club and Sleepy Hollow Garden Club.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Nicholas; two children, Stephen James of Austin, Texas, and Laraine Ann of Glouster, Mass.; a brother, John Paletta of Cheverly, Md.; a sister, Patricia Paletta O'Reilly of St. Albans, Va.; and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday at Transfiguration Church in Tarrytown. Dwyer & Vanberbilt Funeral Home handled arrangements.
