OSSINING, N.Y. – Marilyn "Mindy" Berkon of Ossining, formerly of Scarsdale, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. She was 66.
Berkon was born July 22, 1946, in New York City to Philip and Ann Bonder. She grew up in Bronx, N.Y., and worked as a buyer and saleswoman. She specialized in infant clothes, baby furniture and layettes in Westchester.
Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday at Riverside Memorial Chapel in Mount Vernon. Burial will follow at Sharon Gardens in Valhalla.
Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
