SCARSDALE, N.Y. - Serafina N. Sore of Scarsdale died Dec. 1. She was 80.
Sore was born Dec. 25, 1933, in the Bronx, to Rose (Trevisano) and Anthony Casella.
Sore is survived by her husband, John; daughter, Sarina Penichet of Somers; son, John D. (Rebecca) Sore of New Zealand; brother, Joe Casella; and five grandchildren.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Dec. 3 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, Dec. 4 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home Inc., 491 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:15 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 8 Carman Road, Scarsdale, with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 W. Stevens Ave., Hawthorne.
