FLEETWOOD, N.Y. - Thomas C. Benichasa of Fleetwood, formerly of Brooklyn, died Dec. 5. He was 65.
Benichasa was born in 1949, to Thomas J. and Marie Benichasa. He was a mailman in Scarsdale for 31 years. He was president of the White Plains Chapter of NARFE. He served in the U.S. Naval Reserve for 20 years. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church and the Keough Council of the Knights of Columbus of Tuckahoe.
Benichasa is survived by his wife, Donna; brother, John Benichasa; many aunts; and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents.
Calling Hours are Wednesday, Dec. 10 from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Fred H. McGrath & Son, Funeral Home, Bronxville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11 at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Fleetwood. Interment at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
