SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- Timothy Broderick, 81, of Scarsdale, passed away Sept. 28.
Formally of Tullaha, Broadford, County Limerick, Ireland, Broderick was a New York City police officer for 30 years and served in the U.S. Army. Broderick passed away following a brief illness while attending his brother’s funeral in Ireland.
He is survived by his wife Linda and sons Laurence and Patrick; daughter in-law Eileen; sisters Lenie and Philomena; as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, relatives and friends.
A Christian Burial Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scarsdale, 8 Carman Road. Reposing will take place from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Ave. at South Broadway in White Plains. Interment will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
The family asks memorial contributions be made to Bru Columbanus, Cardinal Way, Wilton, Cork Ireland and can be found online .
