On Saturday night, police responded to Harvest Drive for an alarm activation that was coming from a motion detector in the foyer. Upon arrival, the police found a crank-style side window leading into the dining room had been pried from the frame and was hanging by hinges.

According to police, the house appeared mostly untouched, outside of the master bedroom, where a pillowcase was missing, and an empty jewelry box was on the bed. Several drawers were askew and left open, and a fire safe locked box and diamond stud were found at the home.

After reaching out to the homeowners, police were informed that the window had been previously damaged, and was not fully closed at the time of the burglary. Police stepped up patrols in the area for the remainder of the weekend until the homeowners returned from out of town.

Police are continuing their investigation into the burglary and so far there are no suspects.
