Five Men Charged in Cortlandt Area Heroin Trafficking

CORTLANDT, N.Y. – Five men face heroin trafficking charges following a seven-month investigation by the office of Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore.

Nathaniel “Happy” Graham, 36, of Cortlandt was charged with three counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a class B felony, three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony, and three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

Vincent Altieri, 22, of Cortlandt, Alonzo “T” Thompson, 51, of Croton-on-Hudson, and Stephen Agosto, 21, of Croton-on-Hudson were charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, class B felony, two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony, and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor.

In addition, Michael Robles, 22, of Cortlandt has been charged with a felony complaint of one count of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a class B felony.

Altieri was arrested on March 21 and Graham was arrested on March 27, while Robles was arrested on May 2 and Thompson and Agosto were both arrested on May 3.

The investigation, which took place in the municipalities of Cortlandt, Croton-on-Hudson and Peekskill, was conducted in conjunction with the New York State Police and the Croton-on-Hudson and Harrison police departments.

Police executed search warrants both at Agosto’s Grand Street home in Croton where they seized oxycodone and at Altieri’s Locust Avenue home in Cortlandt, where they seized nearly an ounce of cocaine, 500 $10 bags of heroin packaged for sale on the street and $3,000 in cash. 

Each of the defendants were observed making multiple sales of heroin to an undercover officer in various jurisdictions, police said. There appears to be no connection between any of the defendants, police said.

All men are being held in Westchester County Jail. They face a maximum sentence between nine and 12 years in state prison, police said.
