SCARSDALE, N.Y. A Scarsdale resident was the victim of criminal mischief over the Labor Day weekend when vandals damaged two cars in her driveway, slashing five tires.
The Overhill Road resident discovered Monday at approximately 1 p.m. that the left front and rear tires of her Mercedes Benz were flat and had several puncture marks, according to the police report. Her husbands Jeep also had two flat right-side tires and a flat left front tire.
If an arrest is made, the suspect will face second-degree criminal mischief charges, which are class D felonies.

A Madison Road resident reported that two vehicles had been vandalized Friday. Four side-view mirrors were removed from her 2011 Honda Pilot and 2003 Toyota Camry. Police said the glass sections from the mirrors were missing. One vehicle was in the driveway and the other in front of the house.
According to police, the resident was home but did not see anyone near her car. There were no reports of similar crimes in the area.
A New York City man was arrested at the intersection of Walworth Avenue and Brayton Road on Sept. 28 after a patrol officer stopped his Toyota Camry and found that the driver had six previous license suspensions from four separate incidents.
During routine stop sign enforcement, the officer saw Jason Pareja go through a stop sign. Pareja was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation with three or more open suspensions, a second-degree misdemeanor.
He was released on $100 bail and is due in court Wednesday.
