Athletic Director, Husband Accused Of Stealing From Area School District

HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- A Hyde Park couple were charged with grand larceny on Tuesday after police executed a search warrant and discovered items that belonged to the Hyde Park Central School District at their home.

Hyde Park resident Amy McCardle--Rausenberger was charged with grand larceny after police discovered a large amount of items taken from the Hyde Park Central School District.

Amy McCardle-Rausenberger, 39 and Scott Rausenberger, 37 were arrested after Hyde Park Police, along with the New York State Police recovered a large amount of stolen property in both their home and in the detached garage. 

McCardle-Rausenberger is the school district's athletic director and her husband runs an at-home triathlon and fitness training company called “Go Fast Get Fit."

Both are being held at the Dutchess County Jail.
