New York State Police received a report of a woman in the center lane with injuries around 7:30 a.m. but have not determined if the woman fell or jumped onto the roadway, said Trooper Michael P. Cassella, public information officer for the state police.

The woman received treatment at the scene and was transported to a local hospital, Cassella said. He did not release her condition.

The closure was in the area of the Ashford Avenue Bridge in Dobbs Ferry between Saw Mill River Road (Exit 7) and Saw Mill River Pkwy (Exit 7A).

The stretch of I-87 reopened around 8 a.m. and traffic is now flowing.
