Man Shot, Killed In Westchester ID'd As Aspiring Rapper

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - Police have identified the man who was shot and killed in Mount Vernon over the weekend.

Officials confirmed that 31-year-old Brandon Preston was the victim in Friday night’s shooting outside of a bodega on South Columbus Avenue. According to News 12, Preston, also known as “Danza” was an aspiring rapper.

There was a second shooting the following day that sent one victim to the hospital in critical condition. His condition was not immediately available on Monday.

No arrests have been made, and no suspects have been identified. The shootings are both under investigation.
