Police are investigating a case of homophobic and xenophobic graffiti that was spray painted at Scarsdale High School.
Graffiti consisting of the letters “KKK” was discovered near the tennis courts at high school this past weekend, prompting a response from police, local and school officials.
According to a scarsdale10583.com report , there was also a homophobic slur and images of genitalia spray-painted on school grounds. A photo of the graffiti can be found on their website .
An investigation has been launched by police, and Scarsdale High School Principal Kenneth Bonamo addressed the situation in a letter distributed to parents condemning the graffiti and its meaning. Police said that the incident is being handled as a case of criminal mischief.
