Police Presence Requested At Westchester HS Lacrosse Game

Police in North Castle were recently called to Byram Hills High School in Armonk after a trio of parents were allegedly heckling referees at a lacrosse game.

According to a North Castle police report released on Thursday, on May 5, Byram Hills High School Athletic Director Rob Castagna requested an officer for police presence at the press box for the conclusion of a lacrosse game as a precaution.

The report states that three parents were yelling at the officials throughout the entire game and Castagna was concerned that there would be a potential dispute in the parking lot.

Police said that the game ended without incident and all parties left without incident.
