Police Raid Hudson Valley Marijuana Growing Operation

A three-month investigation led to a raid that resulted in authorities apprehending approximately 340 marijuana plants, several pieces of equipment used to grow the plants as well as thousands of dollars and a weapon on Thursday, March 31 in Minisink in Orange County.

Also secured was 11 pounds of processed marijuana, valued at $27,000. 

A Smith and Wesson .38-caliber handgun was also recovered and secured. 

Isaac Lugo, 29, of Warwick was located inside the residence and charged with the Felony of Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the first degree.

Lugo was arraigned and remanded to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail. 

He is scheduled to re-appear before the Court on April 16.

The investigation is still on going and future arrests are anticipated.
