Scarsdale Patrol Officer Graduates Westchester County Police Academy

SCARSDALE, N.Y. - The Scarsdale Police Department welcomed its newest officer to its ranks over the weekend, who will soon be on patrol in the village.

Scarsdale Police Det. Sgt. James Newman, Lt. Joseph Dusavage, Det. Lt. Edward Murphy, Officer Victoria Wanderman, Chief Andrew Matturro and Capt. Thomas Altizio.

On Friday, Officer Victoria Wanderman graduated from the Westchester County Police Academy following the completion of a 20-week training program.

Wanderman will now enter a 10-week Field Training program within the department, training with veteran officers who have been certified by New York state as Field Training Officers. Upon completion of that program, Wanderman will be assigned to the patrol section to begin uniformed patrols in the department.
