According to a statement from the New York State Police, Johanna Fitzgerald, 43, was charged with a misdemeanor count of driving while intoxicated.
At approximately 9:15 p.m., police from the Hawthorne barracks noticed Fitzgerald’s vehicle stopped in the right lane of the parkway near Mount Pleasant. She had a blood alcohol content of 0.17 percent, twice the legal limit.
Fitzgerald was issued a pair of traffic tickets for her offenses and is due back in Mount Pleasant Town Court on Thursday, Jan. 8.
