Two Robbed At Gunpoint At Village Of Mamaroneck Chase Bank

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- The Village of Mamaroneck police are asking for the public's help in identifying two men who robbed two people Friday, Nov. 11 at the Chase Bank ATM machine, according to Village of Mamaroneck Police.

The robbery occurred around 11 p.m. at the drive-thru ATM outside the Chase Bank at 535 E. Boston Post Road, said Det. Sgt. Charles Lanza.

During the robbery, two men, wearing all black with white scarfs covering their mouths, approached the victims as they pulled up to remove cash from the ATM machine. One man displayed a gun and demanded the first victim's cellphone and wallet. Then went to the passenger side of the car and demanded the same from the passenger, Lanza said.

The accomplice also displayed a gun and guarded while the first suspected robbed the two, he added.

"Residents should always use care when using an ATM machine at night," Lanza said.

Detectives responded to the scene along with a K-9 officer but were unable to locate the two suspects.
